Why do people feel the need to cut off somebody to get to a job they hate a few seconds early? Are those seconds important enough to risk the lives of others, and if not, why be in a rush everywhere you go? People only get one chance at life, so why not try to make it last as long as possible. I'm pretty sure you don't want to spend that last seconds of your life screaming in anger at somebody. They don't have to use their imagination or bodies to entertain themselves. The only muscle they have to use is their thumb for the remote. Before the tube came out on mass production, people entertained themselves with sports, exploring the woods or coming up with different games that all the kids could play. New sports are on television, with new sports everyday. All of the woods are being torn down to build new stations or to expand the city, and television provides us with all the imagination that we could possible want. With all of this happening, people are staying inside more. As a people stay inside more, they use less of their body, which turns to fat. America is the fattest nation in the world with over forty percent of the population in the obesity crowd. We could feel all of the starving people in the world with all the excess fat we contain. When I was young, my mom always kept me out of the house and told me to go play outside. With fewer parents being able to stay home, television provides a cheep babysitter.
