Robert Dietz Research Paper
Robert Dietz was born on September 14th, 1914 in a town called Westfield, New Jersey. Dietz grew up as a very independent young man. By high school, he had rejected all religion to pursue what he truly loved, which was science. As a scientist, Dietz used his knowledge of the geology of the seafloor to form a hypothesis about the continental drift of the Hawaiian islands. His theory was that the islands seemed to be moving on a “conveyor belt”. Dietz was also very interested in scientific technology. He joined the U.S. Navy Electronics Laboratory to study certain technology. He also wrote many reports on scientific technology for the U.S. Army.
