Robert Dietz Research Paper

Robert Dietz was born on September 14th, 1914 in a town called Westfield, New Jersey. Dietz grew up as a very independent young man. By high school, he had rejected all religion to pursue what he truly loved, which was science. As a scientist, Dietz used his knowledge of the geology of the seafloor to form a hypothesis about the continental drift of the Hawaiian islands. His theory was that the islands seemed to be moving on a “conveyor belt”. Dietz was also very interested in scientific technology.
