In stanza 1 he is saying how he could not travel both roads at the same time, he needed to pick one. In Lines 2 and 4, “And sorry I could not travel both/ And looked down one as far as I could.” (Frost 2-4). What is being expressed in these lines is that he could not have both options at once. It's explaining how he made sure to carefully look at both choices carefully so that he would choose what he thought was best for him. This clearly supports my opinion on the theme because he is looking over the roads, or options, because he knows it will affect his future.

In lines 13-15 it quotes “Oh, I kept the first for another day/ Yet knowing how way leads on to way/ I doubted if I should ever come back” (Frost 13-15). This indicates that if the choice he had chosen was not the best for him and affected his future in a way he did not like, he could alway come back and take the other path. But he's also saying how he might not come back because he feels the the other choice is just the same as the choice he choose. It could also mean he might never be able to change it so it's pointless to come back. These lines of poetry support my opinion on the theme because it has details on choice making and how even though the choices look different the may be the
