Robert Kennedy served as the United States Attorney General from 1961 to 1964 and as a United States senator from New York from 1965 to 1968. He was a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Law. He was appointed attorney general after his brother John Kennedy was elected president in 1960.

He died the following morning at age of 42. Robert was four years younger than John Kennedy at the time he was assassinated on November 22, 1963.
