Robert Kennedy: A True American Hero
Did he know he was defining Superpowers? Probably not, at least not in the since we’re looking at them here today. That doesn’t change the fact that he did.
The entire Kennedy clan exemplifies what true American heroes can look like and accomplish when they act on their words.
Robert Kennedy served as the United States Attorney General from 1961 to 1964 and as a United States senator from New York from 1965 to 1968. He was a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia School of Law. He was appointed attorney general after his brother John Kennedy was elected president in 1960.
During this time, Robert Kennedy fought organized crime and worked for civil rights for African Americans. He also served as a close advisor to the president. In the Senate, he was a committed advocate of the poor and racial minorities, and opposed escalation of the Vietnam War. …show more content…
He died the following morning at age of 42. Robert was four years younger than John Kennedy at the time he was assassinated on November 22, 1963.
