Robin Williams: Song Analysis
Singer CeeLo Green has released a song called “Robin Williams” which is a tribute to the late actor. Williams, a seemingly happy man, was battling depression and committed suicide in August 2014. "Robin Williams" is the first single from Green's upcoming album Heart Blanche. Although the song is good, I can't help but think that it's a blatant cash-grab.

The upbeat and catchy song features lyrics that relate to Williams and his battle with depression. The lines "we don't know what the next man's going through" and "life reminds me of Robin Williams / we've got to laugh the pain away" work as parts of the hook. The production on the track is bubbly and CeeLo's vocals sound good. Along with references to the Mrs. Doubtfire star, Green also mentions

When a song is as heavily covered as Fats Domino’s “Ain’t That A Shame” from his album Rock and Rollin with Fats Domino you know that there is something special about it. With recording artists such as Pat Boone, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and even the 1970s rock group, Cheap Trick recording the song many people know at least one version. However the original version has a special something about it that helps it stand out from the many covers. The song has an enticing hook, interesting historical context, and is an earworm that was with me for several days after I first heard the song.…

If I was to cast the poem as a movie I would cast Tichina Arnold as the mother, because she is a vibrate actress and Arnold could easily change from her professional voice to her mom's voice. Most of the role Arnold has played is like the mother in the poem, the mother is strong and professional, but at the same time the mother is loving and cares about her child. Arnold has had roles like Pam on the TV show "Martin" and the mother on the TV show "Everybody Hates Chris" and these characters have the some characteristics of the mother in the poem. The actor that I would cast for the role of the father is Terry Crew. Crew has already played such a role and it was in the TV shoe "Everybody Hates Chris". Crew was a strong, fun, and construction…

The song “Kevin by Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, and Leon Bridges, was in my opinion incredibly gloomy. First finding out that Kevin and Macklemore where drug addict was the first shocker. The song, per se did not declare Macklemore as an addict, but the context in the song told otherwise. Also it was sad finding out that Kevin died from overdose most likely, while Macklemore is still alive to see a friend die and from the song this was not the first or last death of a friend he would see. Now with friends that were with him dying from most likely drug abuse, Macklemore created for those who have a drug addiction so one could suffer the same pain he is feeling.…

Saunders statement on the impact of Wilco song reflects his own values from his fiction by allowing him to relate his fictional stories to what people go through everyday. For Saunders, the song brings out the better in him, he feel like every type of situation has a solution. Even in the most conflicted scenario people are able or have the option to put aside their differences and workout their differences. Saunders writing style also includes writing things indirectly by giving out clues of what might be going on in a characters mind or even a scenario in the story, but he doesn’t tell his readers the problem directly. He allows his readers to process the information, take guesses and allows them to figure out things on their own as the…

The breakfast club has one of the most unique and memorable soundtracks of all time. Something that made the movie gave it such a memorable track and the movies “theme song”, "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by the band Simple minds. Something that the movie did that not none to many movies had done at that point. They used this song twice, once at the beginning at once at the end. The two times this song is played in this movie, each function is shown. It shows genre because the movie was release in 1985 and this is around the time new wave music (the song’s genre) became popular. It sets the mood both at the beginning and at the end of the movie. It sets mood at the beginning because of the tempo and rhythm makes…

In The Song of Songs, the Shulamite and her lover are everything but what society conforms to. In their Hebrew society there are rules and restrictions pertaining to sexual relations and who is allowed to marry who. These rules are stated in the book of Deuteronomy, and if the citizens do not abide by the laws written in the book, the punishments were harsh and brutal. However, the Shulamite and her lover seemed to be living in their own world where they could not care less about what society thought of them. In this poem, The Shulamite and her lover break many laws, and in most cases, desire seems to be considered a higher law to them than anything written in Deuteronomy.…

It is a collection of forty-eight short lyrical piano pieces of markedly song-like character that he wrote at various periods of his life between 1809 and 1847. They are well suited to the study of musical form because of their artistic value. Op. 19b, No. 1 Andante con moto in E major was written in 1830 and is the first in the collection.
