Michael Schumacher
Michael Schumacher, the German Formula 1 race driver, is my role model because of his fighting spirit, desire to be a top racer and the ability to find time with his family. First of all, Michael Schumacher is a person who entered Formula 1 in 1991 and tree years later he won his first championship. In 1995, he won his second title. Later on, he moved to the Ferrari Team and with them he won 5 titles in a row between 2000 and 2005. This shows his fighting spirit and his desire to always be on the top. Michael
Schumacher is also known as “The Chicken” and drives fearlessly against his younger competitors and he still manages to win many races. Second, he holds 90 % of all the records in Formula 1 and I don’t think there will be anyone who will be able to beat them in the future. His most spectacular record was in 2004 when he managed to win 17 out of 19 races. He finished second and third in the races he didn’t win.
Because he is so popular, you might think he is not a “down to Earth person”. Even though he is rich and powerful, he never shows that in life. He has four kids but he doesn’t spoil them more than other parents would. He is very strict with them and he makes sure they are well-educated. It is really amazing how he manages to find time to spend with his family when his work is so demanding. I admire him for being such a great pilot at Formula 1 racing and at the same time still managing to stay so “down to Earth”.
