An ethical code for everybody in health care
An ethical code fort everybody is a British medical journal. The journal was written by Limentani in 1998. The significance of codes in providing structure in the heal care is one of the issues highlighted in the journal. Besides, it also provides answers to some of the ethical dilemmas in healthcare. Finally, practitioner in ethical issues is another area which has been elaborated in the journal. According to Limentani 1998, one of the challenges facing health care today is the code of ethics. Just like any other career, heath care industries have set code of ethics that have to be complied with. These codes of ethics guide both the external; and the internal environment in the health industry. This study will evaluate the possible ethical code of ethical conduct in the health care industry. Who are the main practitioners in the code of ethics? What is the role of the government in the implementation of the code of ethics in heath care? What are the possible roles of the general public in ethical code implementations?
Variables
The dependent variable in the study includes all the response that can be measured. They include the frequency of ethical occurrence, the intensity of the occurrence, the regularity of the government and the public support and the possible violators of the code of ethics in health care.
On the other hand, independent variables are those which the researcher of the study can easily manipulate during the study. They include the following; the number of correspondents that were the health workers in most cases. The number of health centers visited during the study. The government officials in the health centers who were contacted during the study. (Berwick, 1997)
