SEO is the most common word in internet marketing. At present almost every website owner try to get higher volume of traffic for their website. They try heart and soul to get large number of users.
What is SEO?
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is the use of methods and techniques to improve the visibility of a website.
SEO helps to ensure that a site is accessible to a search engine and improves the chances that the site will be found by the search engine. It is common practice for Internet users to not click through pages and pages of search results, so where a site ranks in a search is essential for directing more traffic toward the site. The higher a website naturally ranks in organic results of a search, the greater the chance that that site will be visited by a user.
Simply put, search engine optimization is the processes of improving the quality and volume of web traffic to a website by employing a series of proven SEO techniques that help a website achieve a higher ranking with the major search engines when certain keywords and phrases are put in the search field.
As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content, HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords
