2.0. LITERATURE REVIEW
In a commercial transaction system, a system user uses a card device to interact with sales or transaction terminals to conduct cashless transactions. Each terminal processes data including a balance stored on the card device and updates the stored data at the end of the transaction. The system is specially designed for purchases of items or transactions of relatively small monetary value, where purchases are generated unattended by salespersons. In this manner, the amount of the transaction is deducted from the balance on the card device [21]. In current days the petrol stations are operated manually. These petrol pumps are time consuming and require more manpower. To place petrol stations in distant area, it’s very costly to provide excellent facility and services to the consumers, all these problem are sorted out by the use of unmanned fuel pump which requires less time to operate and it is effective and can be installed anywhere (both remote ad non remote areas) within the customers locality [22]. The services are done without the help of any fuel attendant and the payment is done by an electronic clearing system. These petrol stations are easily monitored with the video capturing and alarming system over the time by a central control unit. In addition, theft would be reduced. In the next section, some related works will be discussed.
