1. Required at all levels:
As per Deloitte, in a recent global survey, states that “to attract and retain the top talent of the future, leadership at all levels must become a strategic imperative” Leadership is becoming the crucial element for the sake of an organisation to grow and succeed.
In the upper management, it’s essential for gaining co-operation in establishing of plans and procedures. Whereas in the lower level, it is recommended for understanding and implementation of plans and procedures confined by the top management.
2. Representative of the subordinates:
A representative of the employees is a leader. So he is the one who speaks for them. He raises the issues at general meetings, seminars, etc. Basically, he is the middle person linking the top management and the work groups. As a linking pin, he conveys the voice of the co-workers to the management.
3. Integrates and accommodates the individual objectives with enterprise goals:

A good leader always shows their colleagues how the work should be done. Thus, it is known as “Leading from the Front”. In this leadership style, leader sets the tempo, way and a goal. Whereas in situation 2, a leader motivates his employees to come up with new ideas to deal the problem, which not only encourage the employees to work effectively and efficiently but also give the chance to them to shine. This strategy is known as “Supportive Leadership Style”, where a leader observes and supports them with their views and opinions. Situation 3, however, observes the employees getting the work done using their ways, but here leader provides little guidance whenever they are stuck.
