Roller Coaster Research Paper
After a getting up at five in the morning and driving for seemed to be forever, I was happy to see the top of a roller coaster peeping over the top of the trees ahead. We had made it to Six Flags over Georgia at around eleven O’clock Eastern time; the park had only been open for an hour. We turned in and paid fifteen dollars to park got out of the car and proceeded to the gate. We had bought our tickets online so we could avoid the ticket line and get a discount, even though I’m not sure how great of a discount that really was. At the gate tickets are $39.95, online they are advertised as $29.95, but then there is some “print charge” of five dollars so, the discount it only five dollars. As soon as you enter the gates there are numbers of Six Flags employees ready to stop you and ask to take your picture. …show more content…
We pick up a map and decide to try and go to some of the longest wait rides first since the park had only been open for an hour. At first the average wait for a good roller coaster was about 30 minutes, but as the day progressed it got longer. We rode every major roller coaster there with the exception of the batman; the line was past the four hour mark. The longest we waited in line was probably an hour and a half and those rides were for the Superman and Goliath. Superman was my favorite ride with the exception that while waiting in line the ride got stuck twice, while people were hanging face down. The Goliath was my second favorite. I would recommend that when riding Goliath you wait the extra time to ride in front. Some advice I would give before going to the park is to make sure that you wear comfortable shoes, you walk everywhere and by the end of the day my feet were killing me. Also don’t bring a purse. We brought a book bag and took turns carrying

A lowrider is a car originated by Mexican-Americans in California. It was a part of the zoot-suit fashion that bloomed heavily through Los Angeles during the 1930s. Many lowriders have hydraulic suspension systems (modified suspension) so that their ride can change height at the flip of a switch. Lowriders are commonly classic cars from the 1950s (when lowriding began). However, large numbers of 1940s to 2000s model cars are also modified; to an uncommon degree newer vehicles are also modified. The word is also used to refer to those who drive or own such cars. A lowrider will traditionally have many factory-offered accessories or options and often many after-market accessories added.Contents [hide]…

Some people come from out of state to enjoy the theme park in spring and summer break. It is a fun place because there are many things to do even though it is less rides. I still love all the roller coasters and my favorite roller coaster is the Alpengist. Lines can be long, but never disappoints me at all. Amazing roller coasters their I like most of them. They have roller coasters for adults and young children. They also have wolves, goats and a dog it is kind of cool because they are very shy and curious. During the summer time, they have fireworks. This is the best feature in the park. Everyone also enjoys the Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town. I've never been to the Christmas town, but I heard it is nice. In December, Christmas lights are placed on the rides as décor. I really enjoy seeing penguins and having fun visiting all the different…

This spring I spent two-weeks in New York visiting my daughter and her family. I spend a lot of time in the city, and I love it, not only because my daughter has chosen to create and raise a family in Brooklyn, but also because of its walkability. I’m not much of a shopper, but I do like to watch other shoppers, particularly those who dress as if they’d like to be watched.…

It was the tallest and longest rollercoaster I had ever seen. Some of it was even out of the park! When went to ride it there was a long line but the wait was quick because there were three coasters running on the same track so boarding was quick. I was excited when I first go on it and couldn’t wait to go. The hill on the coaster was extremely tall. You could see the whole park! The coaster was fast and long with several quick turns, small hills, and even a tunnel. When it was over I wanted to ride it again but we went to ride the other rollercoasters in the park. I think that the Fury was the best rollercoaster I had ever…

Today is the day! Today, I go experience the Knott’s Berry Farm for myself. I couldn’t wait to ride the rides, so when my uncle got here I raced into his car and off we went to the Knott’s Berry Farm. When we arrived, we immediately decided to aim for finishing all the rides. Most of the lines for the rides were very intimidating. To the point where we were questioning ourselves will this really be worth it? Most of the rides we waited in had a queue of 1 to 2 hours but the rides were definitely worth it even if they were just 1 to 2 minutes. In return for the queue, the rides always kept me occupies with the accelerations, drops, and loops! All the waiting, loops, and drops without food was starting to take affect and I was getting hungry…

The first best thing I enjoy about Six Flags is their roller coasters. I remember the first time I went I was scared but thrilled to get on the rides. As I walked towards the black gates at the entrances, I knew I was going to have a good time. I could hear the rumble from the roller coasters and people screaming. Ever since that day I wanted to go everyday to get on all the rides, especially superman and the water rides I can still remember hearing the sound of the rides when I left the parking lot.…

Last week, my group and I were constructing the roller coaster. I contributed by installing my funnel into the coaster. I did this by making adjusting the track so that it would lead the marble to the border of the tube. I did this because learned that when the marble spins around the edge of the tube, it increases the time which was what we wanted. After adjusting, I put supports on the funnel that would help the funnel maintain its shape to have the most maximum time possible. I also contributed by making tracks. I measured 3 centimeters for the width of the track so that we can fold the sides to ensure that the marble has a stable ride as well as a straight path. Next, I cut the pieces and started putting the tracks together to create our…

When on the water, you will find all kinds of mighty vessels enjoying a day away from the dock. You will see yachts, fishing boats, pontoon boats, sail boats, and paddle boards? Yes, they might not seem like they are something you would call a vessel on the water, yet paddleboards are many times considered personal watercraft, and treated the same way when it comes to rules and regulations. Failure to adhere to these rules might come back on you if something happens. They might even come back on you if nothing happens, if the coast guard finds you not following them.…

My trip to Disney land. The cost of the tickets was 95.00 for two adults and one child. Anything in your imagination can’t compare to the attractions you will see. The Mickey mouse landscape made out of flowers is just inside the gate. The landscape is remarkable every where’s I looked. The first attraction I walked to was the white castle where you walk through to arrive at the horse drawn ride which is a ride around some of the attractions. I was amazed with the president’s attraction, I went into a theater and sat down to watch a robot that looked like the real president, he talked about what his achievements were during his presidency, the challanges he defeated and the changes he seen. The next attraction I visited was the house of Mickey mouse, I went inside of an actual house, sat upon furniture, I seen many items in the house and in the back of the house there is a movie theater. After that you go outside to other attractions. I was…
