Roller Coaster Ride Research Paper

The ride that I have designed is not only a ride, but a mode of transportation throughout the park. The rides maximum speed is 110 mph, we can also hold 2 cars of 16 people each. The ride is about 30 seconds in between both stops. The ride starts out with a hydraulic launch into a circular turn. Right after the turn the ride does a dive bomb over a cliff for 75 feet, which is the point of highest potential energy. It then takes the rider under a waterfall into a pitch black cave where they do a loop, turning them right side up again and taking the out of the cave again and over a hill. Then the riders are taken into three loops around a giant tree and taken to the first stop by the food courts. The passengers can then get off and the next are loaded and are put through and electromagnetic launch into a loop where they then experience centripetal force and then are sent into another electromagnetic launch where the car reaches its
The ride can get through about 1,920 riders in an hour, it has 2 cars that hold 16 passengers and each ride will be about 30 seconds long. This ride gives passengers the thrill of a steep dive, upsidedown riding, high speeds, and transportation. The transportation part of the coaster is an idea that has never been used before. So this concept is very new and will have a very fun but, beneficial experience for the riders. The design of the ride is entering the final stages, though the name is still undecided. The original hope for this ride to have the equivalent of a monorail train, but the extravagant experience of riding a roller coaster. Some of the main features of the ride are the cliff dive, and the upsidedown cave. With the cliff dive it adds a lot of thrill with a bit of scare, and then with the upsidedown cave you get the pitch black, also with the loop inside of the cave it adds just a bit more of a scare. Once you leave the cave you get a lot of relief with a small hill, just a few loops, and a slow stop to the food
