Greek and Roman mythology are both about Gods and Goddesses that were figures to the people to show if they are good, respect them they would be blessed and be able to go to heaven. People back in ancient time worshiped Gods and Goddesses; they believed that if you angered the gods that they would punished but if you sacrificed for the gods you will achieve the god’s mercy and grace. Whether its Zeus, the all-mighty god of Greece, or Jupiter, the god of Rome, there are some common things between the two mythologies, but they are so different in terms of adventures, personalities, and afterlife.
Greek and Roman mythologies are different by the way adventures are told and how they are represented. Greek Mythologies were told by older people to younger kids about how mortals, who were a part of the dangerous adventures, were praised for those deeds that they did. The Greeks told great stories about mortals on heroic adventures like the stories about Perseus and Hercules. Greek mythology was crated first they thought of strong names that would go great with the personality traits of the gods. The gods and goddesses of the Greek myths are: Zeus, Poseidon, Hestia, Hermes, Hera, Hephaestus, Hades, Dionysus, Demeter, Athena, Artemis, Ares, Apollo and Aphrodite. With Greek mythology being created first, the romans went off of their stories the only difference is the Romans change the names of the Gods and Goddesses. The names correspond to the Stars and/or planets, they sometimes changed the meanings to some of the deities to match them believes and less of Greek beliefs.
