“The greatest relationships are the ones you never expected to be in.”-Anonymous. William Shakespeare wrote the beautiful tragedy “ Romeo and Juliet”. In this play the Capulet house and the Montague house are fuding. Despite this, fate has caused Capulet’s daughter Juliet and Montague’s son Romeo to fall deeply in love with one another. Since their love was forbidden, Friar Laurence had a plan to help them. He gave Juliet a potion that would make her appear dead. She would then be taken to the Capulet cemetery where Romeo would go and meet her there. Unfortunately the plan did not play out as hoped and this caused Romeo to kill himself. Juliet- “Where is my Romeo?”
Friar Laurence- “Thy husband in in thy bosom there lies dead”...
Juliet- “O happy dagger! Snatching Romeo’s dagger This is thy sheath. Stabs herself’” (5.1-3.15-169) Romeo and Juliet went to great lengths to kill themselves just so then they could be with each other. Because Romeo was willing to break the law and drink poison shows he really only wants to be with Juliet. Juliet did the same to Romeo because she wanted him more than life. Even though this is very sad these actions show how badly they wanted to be with the other person, no matter what.
As a result, if a relationship has those three qualities then that couple will be happier. If Juliet was not loyal to Romeo, then they would have never worked it out. Romeo and Juliet’s love for eachother was strong and thriving. Even when life was rough and tragedy struck, the two love birds would do anything to be with the other. Despite the fact it meant killing themselves to be together. Even supposing the misfortune of Romeo and Juliet’s death, it is a beautiful play that everyone could learn something
