Ancient Rome and America Assignment
Ancient Rome and America are similar in many ways. One of the most common similarities are in architecture and in government skills. Rome was known for their substantial structures and technology within them. America uses a lot of ancient Rome’s architectural ideas in today’s buildings. The most recognizable buildings are the buildings in Washington D.C. that use Roman and Grecian columns. For example, the White House uses Ionic Columns for the entrance.
Government skills are the next most recognizable similarities between the two. Rome had the ability to push through most hardships. Our country is severely in debt, but we still manage to be the world’s superpower. We both have wise leaders and a well-

    One major and most common similarity the Han and Roman empires share is they were both very successful and dominant compared to other societies of their time. One reason these two empires were so dominant is because of their advancement in architecture. During the Han Dynasty much of the Great Wall of China was built.
