Lady Capulet then introduces the prospect of marriage to Count Paris to Juliet. Juliet then agrees if she likes him she will move forward in the relationship with her mother’s consent.
In the next scene, Romeo and his friends are getting ready to go to the party hosted by Lord Capulet by getting masks ready in order to go into the party without getting into trouble. Romeo talks about how dreams prophesy which leads to a dialogue delivered by Mercutio (no idea what household he is part of) which mocks Romeo and his idea about dreams prophesying. They then head to the party after which Romeo foreshadows his death.
In the last scene Act I, Romeo and his friends arrive at the party where Lord Capulet establishes he used to be a masker and is happy that Romeo and his friends carried on the tradition. Tybalt recognizes Romeo by his voice and complains to Lord Capulet but Lord Capulet says Romeo is a good person and Tybalt storms off saying he will avenge this offense.
