Romeo And Juliet And Anthony

Both Romeo and Juliet and Anthony and Cleopatra are considered two of the greatest love stories of all times. However, a mother’s relationship with her child goes beyond the physical love of a man and a woman. The connection is very profound as the mother demonstrates her love for her child despite their actions or the consequences that befall them. Mothers are willing to give a kidney, bone marrow, or sacrifice their own life for their child. In the Bible, man was in a similar loving relationship with God and enjoyed all that He had to offer. Overcome by sin, man and all creations were separated from their relationship with God. God used covenants as the pathway to reestablish the divine relationship with His creations.
