The main cause of conflict in this book is because of the two families other wise known as the Capulets and the Montagues. This is because the two families both had very deep hatred for each other while not even really knowing why. Which caused many people not even in the families to choose sides on who was better. Although this might not have seemed like a big deal at first it very quickly escalated into something much more than just a silly little disagreement. SInce the families didn’t get along little to no people from different sides talked.
