Romeo And Juliet Conflict Essay

Throughout Romeo and Juliet the conflict is not between those two characters but between the two different families each of them come from. Many people who have never read the book might think that the conflict would be between Romeo and Juliet but in fact it is not. In the book there is many examples of conflict some more drastic than others but all very much the same.
The main cause of conflict in this book is because of the two families other wise known as the Capulets and the Montagues. This is because the two families both had very deep hatred for each other while not even really knowing why. Which caused many people not even in the families to choose sides on who was better. Although this might not have seemed like a big deal at first it very quickly escalated into something much more than just a silly little disagreement. SInce the families didn’t get along little to no people from different sides talked. And because of this if anyone said anything or did anything to offend the other side a fight often broke out, resulting in each side to have many people injured and even killed.
Causing them to have conflict with their parents. For example Romeo started to become distant from his father and mother and wouldn’t talk much. He did this because he knew that he would never be able to be with the girl he loved. Romeo acted like this was the end of the world and went into a state which was very much like depression. But instead of following in his parents footsteps in the feud he decided to go after Juliet and marry her. Which later on in the story caused so many problems that could have been
