“There is only one happiness in this life, to love and to be loved” (George Sand). The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is a classic love story which set the foundation for hundreds, if not millions of contemporary copies that we know and love today. The play speaks volumes to the fantastical wants of young teens while chronicling the short lived spark of a lusting passion. Even with such an instantaneous love ignited can such quickly developed feelings last between Romeo and Juliet or will the marriage prove to quick, leaving Friar Laurence and fault? Ultimately those responsible for the deaths of ROmeo and Juliet is Romeo and Juliet individually and the Friar Lawerence.
