A person ultimately controls their fate if they are willing to put the work and the effort to control their own life. That person is the same person in the driver's seat of their car and they decide if they are going the wrong way or not. A person has their life in their own hands and they are responsible for that. However, there is an exception, which is God. I believe that God knows everything beforehand and nothing happens without his approval. He gave us free will but also gives us signs. For example, a person has an unknown name and they don’t like it. This person got their name from their parents and it was never their choice, to solve this they can strive to be successful in their lives and with the help of God they can make their name known all over the world. I strongly disagree with that because if fate happens by chance, then it is the same theory as Darwin about the universe and how the universe was made of nothing, which would lead to atheistic thoughts. In contrast, most Americans seem to think that they have control over their fate because they know that their choices will impact their future. Other Americans have ancestors and genetics controlling their fate which may lead to any diseases and it is difficult for the
