William Shakespeare was an English poet and playwright and was also known as the greatest writer in the English language. He has written close to 40 plays, one being the famous Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy that was written at the beginning of his career about two young adults who meet, fall in love and soon get wrapped up in something no one ever expected.
