Rose Hill Mission Statement
Rose Hill Community Center is a private, nonprofit agency servicing the community for over 34 years (Rose Hill Community Center, n.d.). The center provides free daily activities in the neighborhood which are easily accessible.
Mission Statement
“The Rose Hill Community Center builds strong individuals, families and communities by addressing the educational, recreational, and social well- being of our neighboring communities” (Rose Hill Community Center, n.d.). This is done through providing programs and events, and access to helpful agencies and businesses that support both individuals and families (Rose Hill Community Center, n.d.).

Seniors benefit from these programs by helping them to remain active both physically and mentally. The program participants are fifty years old and older. During their time at the center, they are able to socialize with peers and are able to be involved in community events (Rose Hill Community Center, n.d.). The senior center also offers a calendar of educational opportunities such as workshops on various health topics, fitness, Medicare, etc. Another program, New Castle Head Start accepts children from ages three to five years of age of low income families (Rose Hill Community Center, n.d.).
Policies and Procedures
Rose Hill has a number of policies and procedures. Some of these are: Irate calls, meeting procedures/scheduling of room(s), emergency closing, and grievances. The center receives irate callers from time to time and there are a list of procedures that needs to be followed when this occurs. First, listen to the complaints with compassion, record the necessary information in a courteous manner, contact the appropriate party with the information, and lastly, if the caller resist all attempts, forward the caller to the Executive Director (Rose Hill Community Center, Inc. Employee Personnel Policies and Procedures, n.d.).
