“Hey girls how was school today,” asked mom as we got into the car? “good,” Melody and I said together! “Hey mom how did your speech go,”I asked “Same as usual nothing new” My mom goes around talking about my daddy. He died in a war when I was three. I don’t remember him much but I know he loved me a lot. Mom would always say how world just isn’t the same without him. Before I was born my mom was an English college professes so in every speech she would tell the same quote her college professes told her. At the end of every speech she would say -and even though its hard I knew I had my beautiful intelligent daughters Sadie and Melody to help get me through it. Melody never got good grades. Melody and mom love pop music but I love country She was named after my dads love for music. I was named after my moms sister Mercedes who died when she was seven from cancer.
