Ronda Rousey knocked out Correia in a little over 30 seconds on Saturday, leaving everyone to wonder if there is still a worthy opponent left for her. But UFC president Dana White revealed that Rousey could face Meisha Tate in December for their third match, according to the International Business Times (IBT).
The Rousey vs. Tate would be held on December 5 at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas. White is hoping that Rousey could appear at the event with men’s featherweight champ Conor McGregor.

Rousey ‘s patented armbar submission has always come in handy in taking down her opponents. In the last five matches, the longest that an opponent lasted was one minute and six seconds.
The 28-year-old fighter’s last match with Tate happened in December 2013 during the UFC 168. At the time, Rousey used her armbar to clinch her second straight title defense within just 58 seconds. The first fight happened in March 2012 when Rousey took home the Strikeforce bantamweight title, The Washington Post reports.
There are fans clamoring for a matchup between Rousey and Cristaine “Cyborg” Justino. However, Justino would still have to make some changes to be included in Rousey’s 135-pound division. She would also have to clear her anabolic steroid issues which came up in December 2011.
“I'm prepared to deal with anything, that's why I'm the champion,” the IBT quotes Rousey during the post-fight press conference. “I fight in the UFC, in the 135-pound division. She can fight at 145 pumped full of steroids or she can make the weight just like everybody else without them.”
