Drestia? can you explain a bit more for me please"

"Hmhm, where do I start?" *Pam* she slams her fist into her her palm "Ah I know ill start with the world first, this world is called Drestia and it is what you would call a sword and magic world and it has a different system than your world which has no system in this world there is concept of levels, and there are elves, dwarves, humans, beastkin or demihuman, but be careful because there are some dangers like the Demon race and the many monsters that roam the world, whether it be known or unknown there will always be danger around the corner."

"I see and i'm supposed to survive in this world? with what i have no useful skill and im only about average in smarts within all my peers. So how could i possibly survive?" I say slightly worried about my life from now on but still excited at the concept of magic AND levels.

"Worry not for I will give you one skill of your choosing and my blessing"

"hmmm i see and what are the benefits of your blessing if you don't mind me asking

RIP Chloe Henry. I didn't really know her that much. We used to go to school together and even though we were both really young I remember your kindnes. All I hear people say about you is how much you cared about everyone and how nice and sweet you were. It's not fair to anyone to have to go through what happened to you. And it's not fair for any parents to have their child pass away. It's not fair how young you were and how many things you never had a chance to do. When I found out about this it made me feel absolutely terrible and I still do whenever I think about this injustice. We all love you and pray for you. You did nothing to deserve this. It makes me so fucking pissed off this happened I don’t understand how this coud be done. We all…

It was a cold winter day in the town of Budville. The sky was a leaden grey, heavy with snow. The ground was blanketed in a thick layer of frost, sparkling like countless diamonds under the dim light of the morning sun. Maria, a young girl of ten or eleven, trudged through the snow, her breath forming tiny white clouds in front of her face. She wore a thick fur coat and mittens, her scarf wrapped tightly around her neck to protect her from the bitter cold.…

The moon was full, but the sky was cloudy, and so it was nearly too dark to see as Ivan made his way across the field. This far away, from the trenches and his fellows, no one would see him partake of his last roll of tobacco. It was a precious commodity, a treasure that the others would harass him for until he gave in and let everyone have a taste. Or rather, let everyone have a taste until Fat Vlad got ahold of it and bogarted it for himself. It was his last cigarette, the last one he might ever get, and so Ivan intended to savor every last acrid kiss.…

Once a drastic change occurs in an individual’s life, they often find it difficult to relocate or recreate their state and situation before the alteration, thus, repeatedly struggle with what presents them in substitution. Red Woolen Misconceptions I am numb. The shrieks from the small children bounding around like molecules in a heated solution cut through the air, and despite this joyous sound, I am numb. My child will never be able to make that sound. My hand instinctively moves to caress my now flat stomach, a habit developed over the past six months as it grew.…
