Saturday afternoon on 7/31/12, i was patrolling in front of Bill's Card Shop when i noticed a customer leaving the Sports Bar & Grill. The customer appeared to have trouble walking, but they were not causing any trouble. As i continued patrolling the grounds i heard a crash, and i immediately went to go see what had happened. When i arrived i saw two cars that had seemed to have struck each other in the parking lot in front of Bill's Card Shop. I proceeded to the accident and notice that a Black Ford Escort, driven by a 25 year old female and a Blue Honda Civic, driven by a 45 year old male i saw leave the Sports Bar and Grill had collided. The Blue Honda Civic apparently backed into the Black Ford Escort, with the information gathered i called…
Protecting the nation’s borders from the illegal entry of people, weapons, drugs, and contraband is extremely important to homeland security. The U.S. Border Patrol plays an essential role in securing the border between the United States and Mexico with 90% of their resources defending this one border. The issue of illegal smuggling is not new to the United States-Mexico border, or to law enforcement agencies. The occurrence continues to increase while smugglers adjust to law enforcement tactics. Even after the security efforts of the Bush Administration and the United States Department of Homeland Security, the problem of illegal border crossing activity continues to worsen.…
The Mexican revolution began in 1910 and lasted for about 10 years. The Mexican revolution is considered a time of political and social unrest for Mexicans. In 1870, Porfirio Diaz, a former military general, ran for president in Mexico. He used a no re-election slogan during his campaign. The no re-election slogan was that no president should serve more than one term. In 1876, Diaz became president, stepped down after one term but had complete control over Manuel Flores, his successor. Flores was president for 4 years when Diaz amended the constitution to remove all restrictions of re-elections. Diaz continued to be president for 35 years, which is known as the Porfiriato. The Mexican revolution began with the attempts to get rid of President…
If the United States decided to become a true empire tomorrow, the best decision would be to invade another powerful nation first. However, considering that the military is smaller than in previous years, this may prove to be a challenge. Therefore, the alternative would be invading nations close to home and gaining territory.…
The Mexican Revolution does have several distinct features. While the revolution originally started as an up rise against authority, it eventually became a multi-sided civil war. The purpose of the Mexican Revolution was to improve the standard of living for the middle class. By the end of the revolution, the people had overthrown a dictatorship and established a constitutional republic. The revolution was officially ended by in a peaceful manner with the establishment of the Constitution of Mexico. However, this revolution is more controversial since some historians debate its status.…
¨Life is limitless and dreamers of Mexico cross the border they can't be denied the entry to America to find a bright future”. This statement shows that a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico will not help anything just cause more problems and harm millions of people. If a wall is built it will most likely won't solve anything to prevent Mexicans or other immigrants coming to America. Additionally, the wall does not keep out terrorist or drug smugglers. Also, a border wall between the U.S and Mexico can´t protect American jobs or reduce crime. Instead, it will waste resources like public takes and the money to pay the guard to watch the fence. It will also be take an enormous amount of money to build the wall and to surveillance it.…
What is a border? A border is a line separating two countries from one another. The border between the United States and Mexico is the most active in the world as well as one of the longest ones. This border covers 1,950 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. President Trump has manifested his desire of building a wall between these two countries. On January 25, 2017 he signed an executive order to start building the wall. Trump believes the wall will protect the country from illegal immigration, drug cartels, and human trafficking. In reality, this wall will only harm the country in various ways. One of those ways is the logistical challenges it presents. Eminent domain is another harm it will cause, not only to the country but…
Illegal Immigrants are periodically perceived as problematic intruders in American society. Consequently, children of illegal immigrants are subjected to high levels of discrimination daily. With a specific end goal, to secure the constitutional rights of all Americans, every person must address the negative perceptions created on undocumented immigrants and their families.…
A revolution was the only way for the government to change. That revolution should have been lead, by peasants and worker, to ensure all the needs of the people…
During these day, President Trump is the hottest topic since he won the election because his campaigns cause many arguments day by day. He is the first president who took many changes in American economy and politics even though there are many people think otherwise. The most unbelievable order is on Jan. 25, when President Trump signed an executive order to construct a wall along the United States' southern border is inflaming relations between the United States and Mexico, strongly affects to American politics and economy, and damage to the environment; and so, in my opinion, his decision is just ignorant and wasted.…
Although there is no exact solution to stop illegal immigration, there are some ideas and ways to contain it. No matter how many barriers you put up, people will always find a way to get around them. People who are in desperate need of a better life are willing to risk everything they have to just hopefully get that once chance of success. Even if the punishment for getting caught was death, people will take that chance because they believe they can make it.…
No matter the political party, most can agree that America’s immigration system is broken. The steps toward fixing the entire immigration process include everything from border security and amnesty plans, to employment eligibility, and everything in between. While democrats are pushing for quick reforms, a compromise between the two parties is far from settled. With nearly 11 million immigrants predicted to be here illegally, efforts to fix immigration seem more than necessary.…
Large waves of Latinos have been immigrating to the United States for about a century. They have caused Americans to create policies throughout the years aimed at controlling and limiting migration. America’s Xenophobic values have caused questions of who is or isn’t a true American.…

Ever since God created the world, man has sought to communicate. However, after Adam and Eve sinned, man could no longer communicate with God. Yet, God had a plan for this problem and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to bridge the gap between God and man. After the Tower of Babel, man had trouble communicating with his fellow man. Man now had to find new ways to communicate. Early on, written languages were developed. Later on, the writing process was facilitated by the invention of the printing press. Eventually, communion became even easier with the invention of the telegraph which led to the telephone and eventually to the invention of the Internet. Each of this invention came along in God 's perfect timing in preparation for when Christians "shall see Him face to face".…
