run, coincidences happen when she runs toward her father's bank and cause a car accident who is later shown as her father's friend. The most ironic coincidence is when she passes by the homeless man who keeps the money of her boyfriend and he carries a lot of stuffs which he bought by the money.
As Lola runs to the bank, she finds out that her Dad has a mistress, he doesn't want to stay with his family anymore and he is even not her real father. Lola can't stand on it and she decides to run to where her boyfriend is as. By the time she is at the place, her boyfriend decides to steal the grocery and she decides to help him. They try to run away but the polices stop them. By a mistake, a police shoots Lola. In the second run, one of the different coincidence with the first run is when he Dad denies to give her the money and she decided to rob his bank. Luck happens when the polices outside try to arrest the robber but they didn't think that is her and even tell her to go away. After that the random event happens when the ambulance hits the mirror which some guys are carrying it. Lola still runs to where her boyfriend at, he saw her but he is hit by the ambulance instead of Lola's shoot from the first run. In the last run, luck happens recently.Lola still runs to the bank, but this time she didn't cause any accident. Her Dad
even leave early for work so she finally decides to play gamble. As she plays gamble, her boyfriend sees the homeless who pick up his bag and run after him. Luckily, Lola win the gambling twin and she has 100,000. Not only that luck, Manny caught the homeless guy and he got back his money. The random event is when Lola jumps into the ambulance and there is the security of her father's bank. She hold his hand and his heart beats faster. No one in both of them die this time, they all alive and even have 100,000. Free will is the ability to make choices that are either uncoerced, undetermined; or uncaused; or; if caused, are caused exclusively by the agent her - or himself. I don't think either Lola and Manny have free will in the movie. Manny need to have 100,000 in 20 minutes because his boss can kill him if he doesn't have it. Lola need to have 100,000 in 20 minutes because of her boyfriend's life. They don't want to rob the bank but they just do it because their situation and they can't do anything more than that. Since Lola and Mandy don't have their free will. In the first run, Mandy decides to rob the bank when Lola enters there late. Lola has no other choice than stand by his side and she almost kills an old policeman because of it. Lola doesn't want to rob the bank because in the beginning she already stop him but its just too late so she need to rob the grocery with him. Another reason for her action is when her Dad refuses to help her and he is even not her real father. She is hopeless and depressed, no one can help her or her boyfriend so her situation forces her to do it. If Mandy did not forget the 100,000 on the train, Mandy won't think about rob the grocery store and either Lola wont rob her Dad's bank in the second run. In the third run, do they still have free will when Lola plays gamble and Mandy run after the homeless to get back his money. People tend to think that they are forced to do something when they get the bad result but when they get a good result from it, they think they still have freedom. For me, Lola and Mandy still don't have free will in this situation. Or, we can just say it as " luck in bad luck".
