SMART Goals

After watching the video about SMART goals, I had a whole new outlook on the goals that I made for myself in the past. I had to reevaluate some things. I looked over the goals that I had and knew I had to make some changes. The goals that I had made for myself a few years ago were realistic but I didn’t have a set time frame to complete them. I didn’t give any thought to how I would achieve those goals and I was not motivated to complete them. I plan on going back to the list of goals that I made for myself and turn them into SMART goals. Honestly, while I was getting the smart and focus two assignment done I imagined myself setting up different types of goals and not achieving any of them. The reason I predicted this was because usually when set an objective for myself it usually backfires as a result of me not being very motivated. Nevertheless, I gave these tasks a chance to hopefully learn new strategies for the future to manage my academic and, in the long run, my career. My motivation for achieving this goal is based on the fact that this is my second college and failing is not an option. My intrinsic motivation for graduating would have to be my love for helping others in need. In order for me to achieve my career goal I would first have to achieve my academic goal. Reward or not the feeling that I get from being able to see people feel better and helping the ones in need is more than enough. My extrinsic motivation would have to be my family. I want to show them that I can reach my goal because not finishing my first college an degree gave them the impression that I wouldn 't do anything with my life and by accomplishing this goal it would make them so proud of me and shocked and that 's what I want.…

My smart goal is to become a louder more audacious and amiable of a person. This is my goal because people don’t listen to me and i’m not good at socializing unless someone starts engaging first. I want to pursue my goal everywhere I go because I want to learn to be a bodacious, dauntless homo sapien, before I go to college. therefore i shall learn how to live a fun life. I fully intend on doing this because I deserve to live a happier lifestyle. I’m doing this to be more ambitious and spontaneous. I’m not exactly sure how to become more friendly and less guarded, but I fully intend on learning how. I want to achieve this before graduation. I just want to be confident enough to speak. I think overtime as i mature throughout this year I believe…
