After thorough research I found chaldal.com to be as a major competition to Mr. Rahim’s e-commerce site.
Chaldal.com is an online shop based from Dhaka, Bangladesh. They have no physical store. In my analysis I deduce the following about their e-commerce solution:
 Strengths:
• efficient and well organized website
• well established brand name
• secured site
• proven loyalty to interested consumers

 Weaknesses:
• inefficient in responsiveness to customer queries
• lack of major imported branded products

 Pricing:
• The site prices its products in its mentioned retail price and also adds in taxes where applicable.
• If any of their products are mispriced, the sites claims the right to cancel the customer’s order or contact them to inform

In the recent times businesses are facing constant change. Due to this, businesses must regularly come up with new ideas and initiatives to keep business interesting and costumers interested.
SWOT Analysis is a strategic planning tool, which helps businesses to evaluate the chances of their new ideas. It analyzes the external and internal factors which impacts the development of the firm.
Here we shall analyze the SWOT for Mr. Rahim’s Grocery Shop e-commerce solution.
SWOT stands for: Strengths – Weaknesses – Opportunities – Threats
 Strengths:
• Time saving
• Low start-up cost
• Wide variety of products to offer
• Good relationship with suppliers
• No tangible shop; so no excess money sent on rent, decoration etc.

 Weaknesses:
• Alternatives present and well known
• Communication gap created between clients and shop-keeper.
• E-Commerce still unfamiliar to many people
• 100% dependability on fast internet

 Opportunities:
• Good profit making potential
• High availability
• Strong connection with costumers to ensure repeat business
• Create a name
