If not already, suppliers should be notified that Sabina would expect them to have some Lean implementation completed; set a date. Sabina needs to work out a different strategy for inventory from the Chinese vendor. In order to succeed Sabina need to fallow the element of Lean The first element is Lean production reduce the quantity of resources used. Lean production should mean less use of labor, materials, space and time. Lean production makes it possible to eliminate waste by reducing defects so that products are 'right first time' and are of a quality that meets customer requirements. The second phase is measuring the process to looking for clues to understand the root cause of the process. The third phase is identify the cause of the problem, collecting all information. The fourth phase is implement and verify a solution, in other words, collecting ideas for solve the problem and once the solution is found then the solution is implement. The last phase is control, that mean managed and monitored the all process performance.
