Safety and Health of Products
Safety and Health of a products play an important roles in determining consumer satisfaction. According to Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) all pharmaceutical products including health supplements and traditional preparations must be registered with the Drug Control Authority (DCA) of Malaysia before being marketed in Malaysia. Evaluation of the products' quality, safety and efficacy (except for traditional preparations and health supplements) are carried out to ensure safety to the public. Among the three products, Orang Kampung Herbal Tea and Acai Berry Plus were registered with MOH. However, according to the results (Figure 1), Apple Fiber Collagen that not registered with MOH obtained the most consumer satisfaction

In other words, products quality is defined as ‘fitness for use’ or ‘conformances to requirements’ (Hussein, 2012). The product quality plays an important role to consumers in choosing suitable and most effective products for them to use. It has been proved based on the Figure 1 which product quality of Orang Kampung Herbal Tea was rated as very much satisfied compared to the others. Orang Kampung Herbal Tea have maintaining their good quality products through practices of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The GMP ensuring that products manufactured by KSOK were consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. It is also designed to minimize the risks involved in any pharmaceutical production that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product. In terms of management, a great emphases to the Department of Research and Development (R&D Department) and quality assurance (QA) was important as to secure and maintain their product quality. In terms of accessibility, nowadays there are many beauty shops or pharmacies selling slimming product and it caused intense competition among sellers. Some of the some sellers also using online sales techniques in order to market their products. A good management in term of products branding, company reputation, product quality and product accessibility does significantly influence the high satisfaction from the customer with the Orang Kampung Herbal Tea. Apple Fiber Collagen successfully influence the consumer in term of safety and health through role of headline on their packaging. Meanwhile, unfamiliar product of Acai Berry Plus among the respondent does cause this product being rating as moderately satisfied.
