INTRODUCTION TO SAGA FURNITURE TRADING

Saga Furniture Trading was established in 2007 but initially registered as Tenaga Tulen Sdn Bhd in 1985. It is a family business. Saga Furniture Trading located at Lot 148, Kg. Chat Meranti, 17010, Pasir Mas, Kelantan .The owner of the business is Haji Che Ismail bin Che Ali but on 2007 the business is handed over to his son named Mohd Rodzi bin Che Ismail .This business is registered under the name of Hamidah binti Che Hasaan, wife of Mohd Rozi bin Che Ismail. The current owner is a teacher at SMK Beris Panchor, Bachok while his wife is kindergarden teacher at Children Islamic Center. The business operated with 11 workers. The business experienced downturn until his son took over in 2007 .

Products of Saga Furniture Trading

Saga Furniture Trading only produced 5 types of wood products that is window, window frame, door, door frame and kitchen cabinet. Lack of variety of product is due to small number of skilled employees and limited number of machineries.

Source of Capital

Initially, Saga Furniture Trading main source of capital is own money from the owner and due to the business expansion, bank loan used to financing this business . Initially, this business start its operation with only RM13,000.00 and series of bank loan are used to finance this business in order to expand the business. Asset of the business estimated of RM42,000.00.

Average Sales

Due to improper record keeping, no exact amount of sales were recorded but the owner estimated business sales on average of RM18,000.00 to RM25,000.00 per month. Saga Furniture Trading also faced an issue of accrued payment of sales of their customers.
