Sam Is A Necromancer

Sam is a cashier at a fast food joint called Plumpty’s and a man named Douglas changes his life. Douglas is a very powerful necromancer and doesn’t like other necromancers in his territory and Sam happens to be just that. Sam went to work that day just as he always did and when he walked in he looked at the job board and was stuck with cash register like always. His childhood friend Rammon always got the grill (because Sam set, it on fire a couple times). His friend Brooke was also in charge of drive thru, and the new guy, Frank (who everyone was betting on when he would quit) had every other job. Sam and Brooke went outside on break and played a game of potato hockey. The goals where the dumpster and a nice “classic, shiny” car.
Then Douglas walks in and gets mad at them because they hit his turn signal. Douglas turns around to see Sam under a table cleaning gum off. He picks up Sam and asks him why he moved here without the council’s approval and Sam has no idea what he’s talking about Douglas calls him stupid and threatens him. Sam and Rammon are on their way back to their apartment when, this big bulking man comes and questions Sam again, he still has no idea what he’s talking about so he runs off his big mouth and gets the snot beat out of him. Then they all go back to their apartment and make sure Brooke gets home safely. When they get home, they all go to sleep after patching up Sam and realizing that where he got punched in the back looked like claw marks. They go to sleep Sam try’s forgetting what happened that day. When they wake up there’s a knock at the door. Sam goes to answer it. There isn’t anyone there and there’s a package at the doorstep. When they open the package everyone’s jaws pretty much fall off because Brooke’s head is sitting there telling them to get her out the box. When they get her out she says she was just watching TV and everything went black and she was in a box. Then she says that there was a note in the box. When Sam read the note it says that this was a warning and it was Douglas and to meet him at the Zoo at a specific time. The next day he goes to the Zoo and meets Douglas and he tells him that he’s a necromancer and so is Sam. He also says that Sam has to choices, either he can join him and learn how to use his powers or, he will kill everyone that he knows and he has one week to make a choice. The next day Sam decides that he needs some help so him, and Rammon go and tell a ton of psychics and mystics about their situation and it seemed to be way too crazy for even them. Later that day Sam gets a call from a psychic and she tells him that she can help him and gives him her address. They go to her house and she gives them a reading and for him to take off her pouch from around his neck because it was blocking her reading. He takes off his pouch and she says that he had a seal around his aura and that his power was leaking out. And that Douglas was a very powerful and bad man who was the head of the council and he doesn’t lie other necromancers and to find whoever put that seal on him. Sam and Rammon decide to go to Sam’s mom and ask her. When they get there he showed his mom and his little sister Brooke’s head (who was in a bowling ball bag) and they act normal so he knows something’s up. His sister takes Rammon and Brooke the living room and his mom talks to Sam. He asks her everything and she says that when she pregnant with hi she was making a family tree for her husband and she had to look up everything because he never talked about his family. She found out that he had a brother and couldn’t find anything about so she used one of her husband’s hairs and made a tracking spell (because she is a witch). When she went to his house and found out his name is Mike and that he was a necromancer and his brother pretty much disowned him because of it. She asked if her husband was one and he said no but that he was a carrier so that her baby could be one and that if Douglas found out he would kill him. After she had the baby she tested him and he was in fact a necromancer. Later that night Mike visited the hospital and she told him so she tried to put a seal on his power, but it didn’t seem to work so Mike did and it worked. So Sam got mad and when they got home, he got another call and it was someone that knew the psychic and she can send him some help. Sam goes for a walk and get thrown into a van. When he wakes up, he’s in a cage with a very pretty girl whose name is Brid who happen to be the second in line to be alpha in her pack.
He also meets the man that beat him up in the parking lot whose name is Michal and is also a were-wolf. That next day Douglas decides to train same which involves a lot of hitting same in the face. That night a little girl comes out of nowhere and says that her name is Ashley and she’s a harbinger which is supposed to help necromancers with necromancer stuff. They asked and she couldn’t open the cage because there were seals on it made by a necromancer. So she gives him some pointers on how to use necromancy and he tells her to tell someone where he is and to get them out. The next day Rammon realizes that Sam is missing and asks around and found nothing, then, he realizes that that night he was talking on the phone so he checks his phone and finds a number he didn’t realize. So he calls the number and he tells her that Sam’s missing and she remembers that Ashley had told her where he was. So, she makes another call and, calls him back and tell him an address so he tells Sam’s mom and tells her that she needs to take her binding off Sam or he’s going to die, and then he goes there to the address on his skateboard. Mean wile Douglas has him summon a spirit. When he tries he fail multiple times and Douglas gives him one last chance and he thinks, of what Ashley said and he summons Ashley accidently and one of her coworkers Ed, who was apparently so difficult to summon even for the higher level necromancers so no one even tries and he did it without trying and Douglas his angry. After a bit he knocks Sam out and he wakes up on a table strapped down and Ashley appears again and Sam finds out how to undo the seals on the cage and Brid brakes out and frees one of Sam’s hands, but the Douglas starts to unlock the door and Brid runs and hides and Ashley disappears and Sam puts his arm back down so It looks like
it’s still stuck. Meanwhile everyone’s outside of Douglas’s house and Rammon meets Sean and Bran who are Brid’s brothers. They go through the yard and fight a whole bunch of crazy monsters and get inside the house. And they break into the basement as Douglas was putting incantations on Sam and the start to attack while Brid is Fighting Michael, and Sam raises some spirits but Douglas uses them against the others. Sam is fighting for control of the dagger from Douglas, and Sam wins, killing Douglas, and taking his powers. He sends the spirits back and passes out. When he wakes up he’s in a hospital with Sean sitting next to him. He tells him that he’s really hurt and he’ll need to stay in the hospital awhile. He talks to his mom for a while and then Ashley and then Brannoc the alpha of the pack. He says he is sorry for what happens and thanks him for taking care of Brid and that Rammon was also in the hospital and he fell on a vial of bear blood and is fighting it for his life. Then a lawyer comes in and tells Sam that he technically dueled Douglas and won therefore getting his seat in the council and all of his money and everything he owned. When he gets out of the hospital he goes to see Brooke and Frank and they decided to burry Brooke to put her out of her misery of living without her body. And after that when he’s getting his stuff to move to Douglas’s house and Ashley shows up and tells him that he needed a mentor more learning necromancy and then Brooke shows up and says that she was also another mentor for him. And he gets a call that Rammon is ok but, he’ll had to stay at the hospital for a while. Sam used to be a normal person until he got mixed up in all of the other side of things. He was beaten up, threatened, learned that his family were witches and his uncle was a necromancer, kidnaped and kept in a cage for a half of a week in a cage.
