De karakteristieken van strategische beslissingen (1.1.1):

Strategische beslissingen (SB's) hangen samen met de lange termijn richting die de organisatie op moet gaan.

SB's proberen een uitdaging voor de organisatie te scheppen of strategisch voordeel te laten behalen op langere termijn (bijv positioneren op een nieuwe markt).
