I am writing you with the goal of being able to join the professional ranks of the Hometown Fire Department as a Firefighter / Paramedic. Having experience as a Fire Lieutenant, a PCP, a commercial diver, and am waiting for result of NFPA 472 course exam to receive my ProBoard/IFSAC certification as a NFPA 1001 Level II firefighter. I am confident that my past experience, skills and my passion for the emergency services combined with continued fire/medical training would make me a good fit with your department. • 5 years as a member of the Valleyvale fire department responding to over 300 fire and rescue calls per year. • 4 years experience as an on-ambulance Primary Care Paramedic with the local Ambulance out of the Valleyvale station 4. • Numerous technical certificates including swift water rescue, demonstrating ability to grasp technical expertise capabilities. • Commercial underwater certification with experience in construction, repair and maintenance of water control structures. • Maintenance of personal vehicles, including engine rebuilds and transmission overhauls. • 3 years as Fleet Manager for an international fleet management company responsible for maintenance of 3000+ customer vehicles demonstrating management skills. • Over 10 years of information technology experience responsible for corporate programming, implementation of nationwide networks, and customer support. • Tested by examiners from PADI California and am currently an IDC
