Samurai And Knights Similarities
Japan is 8,550 kilometers (km) away from Europe yet the concept of both of their warriors were similar. Europe and Japan both found themselves in pieces and in war causing the start of feudalism. In doing so samurai (Japan’s warriors) and knights (Europe's warriors) arose. Their positions were created so they could protect and conquer land for their master in exchange for a piece of that land. Although, samurai and knights were similar the differences outweigh the similarities. Some of the reasons they are different is because they follow different codes of conduct, armor, and have different relationships with their lord/daimyo.
