Samurai Compare And Contrast Essay
In this 10 paragraph essay , I am going to compare and contrast the ancient japan Nobles and ancient japan Samurai . I am going to tell you how their same and different in many ways. I got my information from World History Medieval to Early Modern Times.
The nobles and samurai had many similarities . One similarities is they are on the social level.Another similarity is that they both practiced Zen . My last similarity is that they both were fighters.
The nobles and samurai had the same social level . They got to tell other social levels what to do. But they both had to listen to the emperor. The last thing they got to do because of their social level was write poems.

They had many differences . One difference they had was clothing . Another difference they had was how they lived . My last difference is the samurai worked as warriors and the nobles did not work. The nobles got to wear anything.they loved beauty and cared about their appearance. They love elaborate outfits.They wore long gowns with 12 layers of colored silk , silk robes, gold jewelry, and decorative fans .On the other side samurai had to always wear the same thing . Armorer and special headgear with 2 swords . They wore that because they need to protect their country at all times.
The samurai lived a totally different lives than nobles. They have to work all day . They could not to ceremonies. If people disrespect them they would be killed. The nobles go to do whatever they wanted . They were so free the moved themselves from the rest of japan . They also called their self “dwellers from the cloud”.
My last difference is that Samurai had to work all day. They had to go to wars to defend their country from china . But nobles got o just sit around all day and make orders with the emperor.The samurai did all the work.
