Sanders's Argumentative Analysis

Sanders has a proposal for tuition free college education that will strength Americas overall intellectual standards. His plan to make public colleges tuition free does not just make attending school more appealing but is also followed with taxes on the speculators moving across Wall Street. Another incredible issue he has shown the light on is the high interest on student loans. There is a 4.29% interest on loans that only profit the federal government, Sanders plans to cut the interest by half. This plan of action for colleges is not new, this was enforced in the mid-1900’s (On the Issues). Sanders supports free tuition by saying “if we really want to grow the middle class…they are going to get a college education.” (Video). Sanders
is fighting for an opportunity that should be seen as a right. As Americans we should have the right to become knowledgeable and help this nation reach a new level of prosperity. Sanders has shown his support for school funding by voting yes on 25 billion dollars to repair and renovate Elementary Schools (Bernie on the Issues). He will continue to encourage more money to go to the education of all children. Sanders was a teacher at the head start programs in New York; his involvement with the educational system gives him first hand experiences on what works and what does not work in the classroom. The head start programs were established for minority children that needed to be taught basic necessary requirements before starting kindergarten.
