Sara Teasdale Research Paper
Sara Teasdale is an accomplished lyrical and abstract poet who poured her soul into her poems. Her poems really cling to you with the real emotions of love. Teasdale, almost as bipolar with her emotions, her poems austerity and lucidity make a clear understanding to her readers. As the hard life Teasdale had, she expressed it thoroughly with a strong mind and open heart, and being an inspiration to women all over the world.

    Sara Teasdale (August 8, 1884~January 29, 1933) was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was homeschooled until she was nine due to the fact that she was always so frail and caught diseases very easily. She became a little more healthy and in 1914, she married Ernst Filsinger, who had loved her poems for a long time. Even though they had a pretty modest marriage life, Teasdale became lonely after all the years her husband spent traveling and they divorced in 1929.
