Sara Teasdale's 'There Will Come Soft Rains'

In the short story “There will come soft rains” by Ray Bradbury, a poem is stated by the same name but different author. The poem “There will come soft rains by Sara Teasdale, comes about halfway through the story and really sets the tone for after it. I will be stating what it means in the story as well as to us in the moment. But first, you of course need to know what the poem is before you can compare it to anything. The author wrote this poem and during the Great War, which makes sense seeing as the poem is about how nature wouldn’t notice if humans had perished. The poem had a change from its previously peaceful and serene tone to a cold and frightening one, giving it an oddly eerie tone throughout. Now to the story itself, it’s about
