What are Christianity and Satanism? Are there many conflicts of interest between both religions or can society not accept what is new? What is the conflict between Satanism and Christianity? Are these two religions so different from each other? What about the people who follow the satanic belief system? Are they Devil worshipers or do they actually just have a different philosophy for life? Both religions are extremely different in their beliefs but also much alike in others. Should Satanism be criticized? The opaque knowledge and conflicts between each one of these two religions has been around since the 60’s, which was when the official Church of Satan was founded by Anton Szandor LaVey and the conflict between the two of them became worst. The most important difference between Satanism and Christianity that is very important to know is that Satanism does not consider the existence of any form of deities, unlike Christianity. This polemic religion called Satanism “ is dedicated to the acceptance of Man’s true nature”(Gilmore). Satanists do not believe in life after death and they also see themselves as “gods” and they should be venerated and worshiped. “ Man-using his brain- invented all the Gods, doing so because many of our species cannot accept or control their personal egos, feeling compelled to conjure up one or a multiplicity of characters who can act without hindrance or guilt upon whims and desires” states (Gilmore). LaVey named his new religion “Satanism” because Satan is a symbol that best suits the nature of we who are carnal by birth, people who
