Save Our Environment
A very good morning to my teachers and my fellow students.I am here today to give a speech about our role to ‘save our environment’. Today, when environment is being polluted so vigorously, everyone has only one question on their mind that is how to save environment from being polluted. The strongest way to protect environment is save trees. Trees play an important role to keep air clean. If there will be no fresh air available then how will human beings, animal, and birds survive? Therefore, a clean environment is the need for every living object on this earth. Many big organizations, schools, colleges, and NGOs are taking initiatives to save trees for a better future, clean air, and unpolluted environment, in short healthy life for living objects. Nowadays, trees are being cut with a great speed for full filling daily needs of human beings. You might have noticed that as the number of trees is reducing disasters are being continuously increasing, which is ultimately leading into high death rate. A big part of the trees is cut to make paper to help us do our personal and official works. If the use of paper will be minimized then we can save a large number of trees from being cut, which leads into healthy and clean environment that is fresh air and healthy life.

One of the biggest initiatives to save trees is to promoting the use of paper less media like mobile phones. It is really a great idea to use paperless media to minimize the use of paper. Another initiative, which has been taken by schools, colleges, and universities in the increase in online examinations. Finally, i hope that one day we could be a responsible human being, we all need to take some initiatives to protect environment and to save trees to live a better life. That is all, thanks for

The procurement of trees can occur either when rights are sold to cut down trees on land that is set to be urbanized or when commercial tree farms are sowed, grown, cut, resowed on the same land. Both means take energy, but the former takes a more natural, less energy intensive path, while the latter takes more energy input from the use of fossil fuels to power the machines to plant, sow and maintain the tree farms. Once the trees are felled, requiring energy input, it is converted to pulp. The transformation of tree chips into pulp and then paper is an energy intensive endeavor, taking fossil fuel inputs to form and shape the paper into a specific product. Some paper products take more processing in order to obtain the final product. Paper that needs to be white, undergoes a bleaching process, taking an input of chemicals and more fossil fuels, which may lead to the contamination of water resources. Once the final paper product is produced, it needs to be moved to market, which again is fossil fuel intensive. The use of diesel, oil and gasoline is not only used to transport the paper product but also used by the consumer of to move the paper product to its final destination. Lastly, once the paper product is no longer needed it is either put into in a landfill or it begins a recycling phase, which uses fossil fuels to move the waste paper and then transform it back into a pulp.…

Trees are an essential delight in our environment, and humans must protect the Earth’s growth of these living organisms. Every year over 30 million trees are cut down. This had made a lot of hardship for the animals and wildlife in the area. Every time a tree is cut that is one more homeless animal who will end up traveling closer to the city. First, these animals will wonder around trying to find food, once they can not they will turn to any and every source. This is when domesticated animals start to become infected with outside diseases from being bit by wild animals. This will spread locally and can end up with children sick due to being bit by an infected dog, and then you have one more problem to face. Second, most of today’s societies, wastes so much paper by using it carelessly and not recycling. Due to the increase in landfills being overfull, we are seeing more and more fire holes; as well these fire holes produce toxic fumes that are being breathed in by nearby neighbors. Third, the high demand for more paper has made most of the production so rapid, that we are destroying our forest quicker than we can make the product. Because the paper companies are so pushed on time to receive the product that they expect a certain number of trees or paper to be available for their customers. We use paper for everything from grocery bags, to billboards. Some rely more on paper and plastic cups for their business, than an entire school full of notebooks. In conclusion the effects of cutting down trees are a never ending struggle. Hopefully we will one day find another alternative material than…

Paper production has been significant since the birth of our great nation dating back to 1640 in Philadelphia (Conservatree). Tree destruction has been a large environmental issue that has been increasing gradually as paper consumption has risen. Although, we have been making progress through the use of recycling; it is not enough due to increased paper demands. The use of wood pulp as a source for paper has dated back to the 19th century. Since then, our people have been able to significantly deplete the seemingly “endless” supply of trees. Recycling is one way to reduce the pollution from paper waste but is not enough to make a big impact since most copy and office papers are made from virgin tree sources. Methods to reduce waste use toxic…

Just to give you an idea of how much it hurts our planet, about 40% of all our trash is a paper product. 30% of the timber that is cut down in the United States is used to make paper related objects. But we can do something to change those numbers. Recycle! Every ton of 100% recycled paper saves an estimated 4,100 kilowatt-hours of energy, 7,000 gallons of water and 60 pounds of air pollutants. Also, if every household in the USA replaced just one box of brand new tissue paper with a box of 100% recycled tissue paper we could save 385,000 trees, 140 million gallons of water and 990,000 cubic feet of landfill space. Another way to save some trees is with using a good old fashion…
