THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
A school is where we learn new things, enhance our skills and capabilities and where we form our identities and personality. It is a big aspect of our lives since we spend most of our time and life there. School is like a second home that nourishes us like children hungry for growth. It helps the students to acquire not only lessons from the book but also wisdom that comes from different experiences which give them an upper hand for a successful future. A school paves way to either a weak or a strong moral, social and emotional foundation.
The teaching style of teachers plays a vital role to the performance of the students. If a teaching style implemented in the classroom is suitable to the teaching style most preferred by the students, then it will most likely generate a positive performance from the students. Otherwise, expect that learning and development will be hampered and students will most likely get uninterested with the subjects.
Unawareness of the appropriate methods of teaching to students may lead to problems that will hinder the students from successfully acquiring new information. This research study aims to extend to students in order to find out which type of learning technique is most effectively used by the students as well as the technique least recognized by the students in their learning process. This will help them be aware of the learning technique mostly efficient and will give them an advantage in obtaining more knowledge and understanding easily than before.
