Scatter Plot Summary

I ended up reading "The art and science of the scatter plot." I liked how in the article the author explains that many people assume that you should just be able to look at a graphic and be able to interpret it without any other information provided. However, this is not the case because,like art, people will interpret the graphic in different ways. For me I have a hard time focusing on the scatter plot because it has so many points of interest and my mind gets distracted by all the outliers. I have been taught many times how to read a scatter plot and to be honest it took me a second to remember what all the lines and dots meant even though I had been taught how to read one before.
