A. *To Start with, Principal George Wilson stated in opposing viewpoints online collection published in 2014 in Detroit that “School uniforms promote school spirit and unity and encourage better discipline.”
1. David L. Brunsma said in his book School Uniform Movement book, which published in 2004 in Lanham: “Former President Clinton and former Secretary of Education Richard Riley supported the role of uniforms in reducing violence.”
2. Uniforms can help the instructors and other school personnel such as police & principal to distinguish any stranger among the students.

Action STEP:
• Summary: I have told you about public school uniform policy, its effects in our children’s educational future, their mindset in behaving with other kids around them. Also I mentioned how it is easy clothing our children with the school uniform and how it can play an important role in safety of their lives. I also added that it helps school personnel to know the strangers between our kids to help make a secure educational climate for them.
• Lasting Thought: Please remember the story I found during my researches: “At one California school that requires uniforms, a teacher told a visitor to a classroom that one student was the child of a wealthy movie producer, another lived in a shelter for the homeless.
