Students try to improve their schools.
PEEL SCHOOLS – JUNE 19, 2013. Starting July, 01, 2013 the students of the peel district school board (PDSB), will volunteer over the summer to improve their school grounds and also finish their hours. It all started with a group of kids wanting to do something altogether, over the summer.

Sponsored by the SGA, students were able to earn community service hours by working this event. “I think this is a great idea for students to start on their hours and also to start a new year with a clean school “said Mr. Link, the principal of Louise Arbour Secondary School. Some students think it’s a great idea to clean up and improve the school grounds before the next school year starts.
The PDSB has announced that they will be funding this program after discussing how they can be a part of these events.
Many teachers are volunteering to supervise the students. Many parents are getting involved with these improvement to their children’s school.
“It’s important that kids get involved, we have to try to get more kids involved with these improvements to Peel schools” said Mr. James, the trustee for Brampton ward 1/3
Many students are saying there happy to help improve their school grounds, as days pass by more schools are starting to improve their school grounds. The City Council of Brampton found out about these clean ups and improvements to the Peel Schools and they also commented saying” Thank you to all the students and teachers that are helping to make schools in Brampton
