This set made the play more fun and relatable to the audience. All the school details added to the set, created a nostalgic feeling of being in elementary school and watching the Schoolhouse rock videos. This nostalgic feeling made the audience more interested in the play while being reminded of all the great time learning in elementary school. The giant TV screen in the background of the set playing the original Schoolhouse rock videos, allowed the audience to have a great time while having a live representation of the videos in front of them. The wide range of the stage allowed for dancing and movements that allowed the actors to really get the audience involved in the play. This was used in the song “Do the Circulation” when they brought up audience members to start dancing. The audience involvement made learning about the circulatory system more fun and exciting. The wide use of the stage was also present in the song “Multiplying by fives” when the cast went into he audience and played hide n seek while learning about the five times table. The thoughtful use of involving the audience while using the wide stage definitely made learning about the numerous lessons in the songs more
