I am pleased to recommend Meenakshi Tripathi for the Bioanalysis Young Investigator award. Research area Meenakshi is a bright, creative, dynamic and Food & Water Analysis and Toxicity highly motivated young bioanalytical chemist. She joined my laboratory for her PhD program FARE LABS Pvt. During this period she learned Email: tripathi.meenakshi3@gmail.com various techniques such as paper and thin-layer chromatography (TLC) along with HPTLC, HPLC, spectrophoto- and fluoro-metry as well as biochemical techniques on enzymology. She utilized these techniques to evaluate the risk and intake pattern of commonly used food additives: colors and artificial sweeteners. Owing to her diligent and intelligent approach she was able to publish five papers. Her thoughtful and persistent attitude, puts her ahead of other young scientists. For example, when she faced problems in assessing colors in ice cream samples, she developed a new method which was published in the Journal of AOAC International. She later worked as Project Manager at the International Food Science Centre A/S, Sonderskovvej, Lystrup, Denmark. Since June 2006 she has been working as Vice President and Quality Manger of FARE Labs Private Limited, Gurgaon, Haryana, India, where she is involved in various activities as per ISO 17025:2005. Being absolutely positive about her, I strongly recommend her candidature for the Bioanalysis Young Investigator award.
