: Means the previous process is finished and the beets are transported to another process.

Countryside
The sugar beet is sown in March and April, this wil be done on the countryside by the farmer. The harvest of the beets starts in September, they will be lifted and loaded.

Transport
The sugar beets will be transported by truck to the factory.

Production process
Before the sugar beets will be real crystal sugar, the beets are inspected on the quality and control department. The beets are weighted and the sugar content will be determined. After that the beets will be washed and adhering soil will be removed. The beets will be sliced into thin strips and the sugar will be extracted from the cells of the sugar beet, it will become a juice. Then the minerals, salts and proteins are extracted from the raw juice. It is now a thin juice with a sugar content of 15%. By evaporating the water, the thin juice thickens and sugar content will increase up to 70%. The thick juice will be boiled and will be more concentrated, a crystal mixture will be added to the juice. The centrifuges separate the crystal mixture into sugar crystals. The sugar crystal are dried and cooled. The production process of crystal sugar is now completed.
Storage
The sugar is stored in big sugar silos.
Transport
The sugar will be transported. There are two different transport possibilities.
1. The sugar will be transported to the industrial clients by bulk trucks. They will use them for other production process to make other goods. Before they can will be used in their production, the beets are stored.
2. The sugar is meant for customers and will be transported to different supermarkets. Before the supermarkets will offer it to the customers, they will storage is in their warehouse.
