Out of all the fourth year high school students of Taguig National High School (TNHS) and Upper Bicutan National High School (UBNHS), only the students from the pilot section will be used as samples in conducting the survey. This study limits its coverage on the fourth year high school students only. Its purpose is to compare the English Proficiency Rates between two schools using the data from the questionnaires that will be given to the said students. This study considers the vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and spelling in written English that will help the researchers compare and analyze English Proficiency Rates between the two schools of the same year level. Each of the respondents are given the same questionnaires to answer. This study focuses on 4th year high school students of the academic year 2013-2014 only.
Hypothesis
The following statements are the possible outcomes of this study:
1. There is no relationship between the variables (vocabulary, grammar, punctuation and capitalization) in written English and the English Proficiency Rates of the fourth year students of TNHS and UBNHS.
2. Based on the results, Taguig National High School Fourth Year students have higher English Proficiency Rates than the students of Upper Bicutan National High School.
3. Based on the results, Upper Bicutan National High School students have higher English Proficiency Rates than the students of Taguig National High School.
4. Students from both schools (Taguig National High School and Upper Bicutan High School) have exceptional English Proficiency Rates in terms of vocabulary, grammar, punctuation and capitalization in written English.

Firstly, the majority of undergraduates studying in CUHK are admitted through the JUPAS system after taking the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE). For instance, over 80% of the students admitted in 2014 are from the JUPAS stream according to the admission statistics (CUHK, 2014).
